NYX Cream Rouge Blush

Back again with the Ulta Haul which I purchased the items online. NYX Cosmetics Rouge Cream Blush are $6.00 each unless you purchase with deals such as BOGOs or coupons. Each product has 0.12oz  (3.5g) which come in 12 different shades listed here: http://www.nyxcosmetics.com/p-25-rouge-cream-blush.aspx
Since I did buy these two products online from the Ulta website I did get a Buy One Get One 50% off. The two shades that I have are: on the left, CB01 Rose Petal, and on the right, CB09 Orange. Rose Petal is more of a natural soft pink that will be perfect for your cheeks any season of the year while Orange is more of a orange, coral color.
A fun fact about NYX Cosmetics are that they are cruelty free :) (They have a cute icon of a bunny with its' ears in a form of a heart!)
Product claims on the product from NYX Cosmetics website says, "More delicious than peaches and cream? We like to think so. Our velvety smooth mineral Rouge Cream Blush offers a sheer wash of radiant color. The glorious payoff is dewy, sultry and long-lasting. Available in 12 shades."
If you can see from the swatch below these cream blushes are more liquidy and moisturizing then most products. Others can be more dry and solid. This is my second cream blush, the first being Maybelline Bouncy Blush in 20 Peach Satin. Being a creamy consistency cream blush, they do not last as long, about 4-6 hours fading but still visible on your cheeks. Packaging is cute, looks similar to Mac's. Color quality is very pigmented so DO BE CAREFUL! I insist on using a stippling brush to even distribute the product just so you don't look like a clown. This product has no smell, at least that I can't pick up. Compared to the Stick Blush, I think I the Rouge Cream Blushes are much more pigmented and are more worth the money than the Stick Blush. They last longer than the Stick Blush as well. Although if placed in extreme heat the product may show slight bubbling, but it is fine to use.
Blendability is awesome but remember to be careful with this blush. I love this blush and will repurchasing along with the Stick Blush!

Let me know your comments if you have tried this product!

NYX Stick Blush

Hey guys, sorry I haven't been posting as much as I would like. I have been very busy with school and time has been flying by so quicky! Here is a review on NYX's Stick Blush
NYX Cosmetics - Stick Blush in SB 06 Orchid
This product is available in 8 different shades in 0.013 ounces which is tad bit more offered than the cream blush. The company claims, "Add a touch of color with our creamy and extremely pigmented Stick Blush! Available in eight rich shades! Apply and receive the perfect glow every day!"
As seen I purchased this item with others on the Ulta website. When I opened this package I thought it was so adorable! The packaging came in a cute chubby looking plastic tube that shows the similar shade on the package to represent the shade inside. It snaps on and off and slides shut. It is retractable! It is very convinent for on-the-go to stick in your purse and apply as you please. With it being for on-the-go, the packaging is not flimsy so it will keep the product safe and from your bag. I recommend applying this product with a stippling brush because you can disperse the product evenly and not mess up the products underneath prior to applying blush.
This product transfers onto the skin very well and looks natural, it does not look shimmery on the cheeks. Guess looks can be deceiving. It is a pretty pinkish peach shade with some gold shimmers. I noticed it has a odd scent to it. I can't describe the scent but it is nothing annoying or overwhelming. It can be a sheer coverage but build able as well. The product is a creamy consistency but nothing too drying or too liquidy. Being a creamy consistency the product does fade over time, roughly 4-6 hours of wear. They blend very easily and does not look drying at all. I love this blush and I've been really wanting to buy more and more shades!
This product being compared to the rogue cream blushes, which I have yet to review are both different. The cream blush is more thicker, creamier, and more pigmented than the stick blushes. Although the stick blush have more product offered. Sucks right? In my opinion I would repurchase both and use them depending on my mood and how I want the finish to look. I am happy with my purchase and am glad I finally decided to purchase this product.
Tip: If you want to make this product last longer, apply a powder blush on top!

Have you tried the NYX Stick Blushes or would like to? Comment down below your thoughts!

Jordana Easy Liner for eyes

 Hello hello there!
This is the Jordana Easy Liner review. I purchased this product at Walgreens for $1.69, because my boyfriend currently works at there so I get a 15% off discount :) but anywho the original price I believe was $1.89-$1.99. This eyeliner is a retractable pencil in the shade Smokey. The product itself comes in a thin black tube with a gold cap and gold font. The size of the product is listed as .28 grams or .01oz.
I first heard of this product and tested it out at my friend's house whom she gets every single time she runs out. She recommended this product to me and said it was very easy to apply and it glides on well. She was right! I love this product. The major plus other than that it is easy to apply it is retractable. I hate sharpening pencil liners because it wastes so much product. It is creamy, last all day, and is not as pigmented as liquid eyeliner so it is subtle for everyday wear. The product does not smudge as well but are easy to blend out.

Here is the liner on my top eyes. I don't do anything dramatic of really dark lines for my eyes just because I have more of an almond eye shape.

Maybelline Color Tattoo

The very popular 24 hour cream eyeshadows are very popular lately especially at the drugstores! I will be reviewing the Maybelline Color Tattoos, one in the original line which is the shade 25 Bad to the Bronze, and the left side is the new Metal line in 70 Barely Branded.
The Maybelline contains 4 grams of cream shadow consistency, both purchased at my closest Target. The new Metal line was $5.94 and the original is $5.89.
The product is very easy to apply all over the lid as a base, highlighter, or even just by itself. You do not need to apply another eyeshadow on top of this. If you do build on top the color is more vibrant and it does not transfer at all. It lasts all day even if you were to swatch it on your hand and to wash it with soap water it would still be there! It applies and blends well.
I feel that is it much easier to apply with your fingers, but if you like you could use a synthetic brush.
Although it is a 24-hour cream eyeshadow this did crease on my lids after several hours so I do reccomend a eyeshadow primer if your lids are more on the oilier side. Depending on the color it is very pigmented but looks somewhat glittery sheen? Just a tad bit product on you will make it seem like you took some time to do your eyeshadow! I love this so far!

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain

WOHOOO Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains are AWESOME! I love this product!
So first with this product I bought this at Walgreen which occasionally there will be buy one get one deals that are offered, such as BOGO 50% which was what I got. The two shades that I got were 001 Honey on the right, and 035 Charm on the left. The original price at my closest Walgreens was $8.99 each.
This gel formula comes in a variety of 12 shades. It comes in 0.095 Oz./2.7g, which is not a lot when you try to screw up the top. You can retract it as well.
This product is a sheer glittery formula that resembles a crayon that glides on like a lip balm and does not fall into the cracks of my lips. It is retractable which is very nice considering that you do not waste a lot of product. The stain does stay on your lips for hours but the feel of the lip balm and a little bit of the color does fade after. The nice thing about this balm stain is that it is indeed kissable so it does not transfer!
I do prefer these Revlon Just Bitten Balm Stains over the CoverGirl one that I recently reviewed. The CoverGirl is more drying and falls into the cracks of my lips. It is not super moisturizing like any balm but it is not drying as well. It is not glossy, sticky, but very comfortable to apply. It has a very small minty scent to it but nothing obnoxious but you can only smell the mint when you apply.
When you want some color to your lips and your face I recommend applying this it will just give your a look an UMPH
Oh by the way if you reapply and add more than one application it will not be cakey and not gather into the corners of your lips! The color will come out more and more vibrant if you add more application.
My boyfriend approves of this balm stain because I can wear something on my lips that will not transfer onto his lips :) Although some will not like this product, that I've heard or seen I totally recommend trying this product over the CoverGirl!
The color payoff does not show very well on my photos from my camera but the top picture is Charm and the bottom is Honey, which is a my lips but better color for me because they enhance my natural lip color. Charm is not as pigmented, but they are just as pigmented as the Revlon Lip Butter they just leave a stain and sheen to your lips.

Wet n Wild Idol Eyes Cream Shadow Pencil

The cheapest of the cheapest Wet n Wild has in stores the Idol Eyes Cream Shadow Pencil. I wanted to try out cream shadows before I purchased NYX's cream shadow chubby pencils. This product was purchased at Walgreens of course for $1.69 in the shade 130 Pixie. You can purchase this at certain Ultas, Walmart, Walgreens, and Rite Aids. The shade is a sheer shimmery gold.
My impression of this product is very silky and easy to glide without dragging. Not a lot of product but very inexpensive and pigmented. This however did crease on my lids and I recommend a eyeshadow primer but perfect for a lid base. I do use this as a highlighter at my tear ducts, or even under my brow bone.

Wet n Wild Coloricon Eyeshadow

Why hello there!
This product is just too good to be true! It is a big rave to other beauty fans! Today I will be reviewing the Wet n Wild's Coloricon Eyeshadows in the 8 color pan.The two that I purchased at Walgreens were $4.99 each and I got the 738 Petal Pusher and 738 Comfort Zone. You can find these mostly at all drugstores I believe except Target, I didn't find any there.
These colors are so pigmented for a drugstore brand but yet very glittery so if you into matte colors this might not be for you. Try the Wet n Wild Trios $2.99, they are less glittery or even the one shaded eyeshadows for $1.99. Majority of them are pretty glittery but there are some neutral shadows.

As you can tell from the pictures above they are pretty glittery and have 4 shades to choose for an eye color. They all have labels on them that say where to place each color, but of course you can mix and match as well. The darker colors are very pigmented and you would only need to tap a very small amount on your eyes to get the color payoff. With the lighter colors, you might have to go over it a couple times until you are satisfied but for me the Petal Pusher eyelid shades, were very sheen.
Here are the swatches on my hand accordingly to the order from above with Petal Pusher on the left and Comfort Zone to the right.
Here on top are the four shades on the right side of Comfort Zone
Here on top are the four shades on the left, the more neutral brown shades of Comfort Zone
On top are the left side lighter purple shades of Petal Pusher
& lastly here are the right shade colors of Petal Pusher.

The Wet n Wild eyeshadows are a great makeup starter kit and fairly good payoff for drugstores. They do not crease, and the color lasts for a long time, about 10 hours! Check them out and let me know how you like them!

Rimmel London - Kate Moss Fall 2012 Lipstick

Why hello there! Today I will be reviewing Rimmel London Lasting Finish Matte by Kate Moss 2012 fall collection lipstick. I bought this lipstick at Walmart for $4.63 in the gorgeous color 109, a coral orange lipstick. The fall 2012 collection offers this lipstick in 10 beautiful shades. Online the product claims: 8-hour wear with exclusive Black Diamond Pigment Complex and reflects light like never before, bringing color depth to a whole new intensity.
The packinag comes in a nice sleek tube in a beautiful red color with the top of the cap slanted with the Rimmel symbol and Kate Moss' signature on the side. The color is matte and the application is AWESOME! It feels like you are putting a lip balm on because it is so creamy! There is a sheen when you first apply but with a couple more layers or in time it will turn into a matte color. I recommend exfiolating your lips before applying just to make it look better.
For a drugstore lipstick, compared to the rest of the lipsticks that people rave about, the Lasting Finish Matte line has a very nice quality lipstick. This line has a variety of different colors of pinks and purples not just red like the past line. The lipstick does not feel drying and lasts for several hours and does stain my lips as well. Eating and drinking will fade the color, so reapplying would be necessary unless it is a darker color and you truly want the true color. OH and this lipstick smells GREAT by the way! It has a fruity but sort of normal lipstick smell to it but nothing obnoxious.
Here are my lips nude and bare on top, yes they are pretty dry looking so the matte lipstick on would make the color cling onto the cracks of my lips right? It did do that on the first application I applied but after exfoliating and then applying chapstick before the lipstick, it felt great and stayed on for several hours. It is so comfortable and easy to apply. If you mess up, it is easy to clean up with your fingers and fix.
The flash is very bright in this picture and does not show the color very well. Overall I like the Kate Moss lipstick compared to the Wet n Wild lipstick that I previously reviewed. The Kate Moss is more creamy and applies easily and does not feel too liquid-ie like Wet n Wild's Fergie line. It is not shiny, and messy when I make a mistake. Totally recommend and would like to purchase more shades!

Revlon ColorStay Foundation

Today I will be reviewing the Revlon Colorstay Foundation.
I bought this at Walgreens for $11.99 but you can purchase this at CVS, Ulta, Walmart, pretty much all stores you can find cosmetics.
This line has 20 different shades from combination/oily skin or normal/dry skin.
The product itself offers that it wears up to 24-hours, gives a flawless look and lightweight feel. It also offers an SPF of 6. The packaging is in glass with a 1.0 Fl. Oz foundation, which is an average amount of foundations that any line has to offer. It does not have a pump, the cap screws off.
The shade I got was in 110 Ivory for combination/oily skin, which I do have both. I have an oily t-zone  with sometimes dry patches around my mouth or nose. I, myself do have acne, but majority of them are acne scars now, and uneven skin tone as well.
The coverage on this foundation is medium to full but also build-able  I do not wear my foundation 24-hours a day so I would not know if it does last that long, what I can tell you is that it does last me from 6am-9pm. Waking up and getting ready for class till the end of my other class. The consistency of this foundation can be a little watery so I do recommend shaking it up before applying. The foundation does smell a little odd eh whatever. The finish however is matte.
Some people say that this foundation can get cakey because it is matte and you have to blend quickly, but I never have that problem. I dot areas of my face with foundation and blend it either with my beauty sponge or my fingers.
This foundation can act as a concealer and foundation. The more you build up the more you will cover.   The foundation to me does not feel cakey and I usually only put one layer on but going back with a small amount to conceal extra blemishes and scars peeping out. I do apply powder after the application to reduce any oil throughout the day. Although I do apply powder, I feel that my face does get oily, so I use blotting sheets as well.
Overall this foundation has great coverage and I tend to use this foundation if I that my skin needs more coverage I will turn to this. The greater part of this foundation is that it does not break me out which I really enjoy! It is long lasting, good shade range, and has SPF.
